Hitachi SP14Q005 LCD DISPLAY

The Hitachi SP14Q005 LCD Module features a 5.7" display with a QVGA resolution of 320×240 and 70 PPI, providing decent image clarity for a variety of applications. Its active area measures 115.185 mm (W) × 86.385 mm (H), offering ample space for text or simple graphics.

With a luminance of 220 cd/m², the display performs well in indoor lighting conditions, while its contrast ratio of 25:1 ensures basic differentiation between light and dark areas. The viewing angle of 40/40/30/50 (Typ. CR≥2) allows for moderate visibility from various directions, though it may not be as wide as more advanced displays.

This screen utilizes FSTN-LCD technology in a black/white mode, offering a monochrome display suitable for low-power and simple visual interfaces. The response time of 330 ms (Tr) and 150 ms (Td) is relatively slow, which is common for STN displays and makes it less suitable for high-speed applications.

The power supply is 3.3V / 5.0V, and the backlight is powered by a single CCFL with a long 50K-hour lifespan. It operates within a wide temperature range from −30°C to 80°C, making it durable for use in diverse environments.

Technical Precautions :-

• It is a front polarizer. It may damage. Please be cautious. Don’t scratch it.

• Always turn off the power supply when you are inserting or disconnecting it from the input connector.

• Wipe off water drop immediately as it may cause discoloration or spots.

• Please handle with great care. It may broken or cracked if dropped or bumped on hard surface.

• Do not try to open or modify the module assembly.

• At the insertion or removal of the Signal Interface Connector do not rotate or tilt the Interface Connector of the TFT Module. It may damage the panel.

• Severe temperature condition may result in different luminance, response time.
