The INMP441 is a digital MEMS microphone module featuring high precision, low noise, and an I²S digital audio interface, making it ideal for voice detection, audio acquisition, and sound analysis projects. It offers omnidirectional sound pickup, allowing it to capture sound uniformly from all directions.
This module directly outputs 24-bit PCM digital audio over the I²S bus, eliminating the need for ADCs, making it highly suitable for microcontrollers and development platforms like ESP32, Raspberry Pi, STM32, and others that support the I²S protocol.
Features:
Omnidirectional Pickup:
Captures sound equally from all directions, ideal for environmental or voice-based applications
High Precision & Low Noise:
24-bit digital audio output with 61 dBA SNR ensures clear, high-fidelity recording
Direct Digital Output:
No ADC needed—connects directly to I²S-compatible MCUs like ESP32, Raspberry Pi, or STM32
Stereo Configurable:
Supports stereo setup by selecting Left or Right channel via LRCL pin
Compact & Lightweight:
Ideal for embedded, wearable, or IoT applications where space is limited
Low Power Consumption:
Great for battery-powered audio recording or voice control systems
