The LM2596HVS DC-DC Buck Converter Module is a versatile adjustable step-down power supply designed for efficiently converting higher DC voltages down to a stable lower DC output. Based on the LM2596HVS high-voltage switching regulator chip, this module accepts input voltages from 4.5 V up to 50 V DC and allows the output voltage to be finely adjusted from ~3 V to 40 V DC using the onboard potentiometer.
This buck converter offers high conversion efficiency, which reduces power loss and heat buildup compared to linear regulators.
