The TP4056 is a fully integrated constant-current/constant-voltage linear charger for single-cell lithium-ion batteries. Designed with simplicity and efficiency in mind, it requires minimal external components and is ideally suited for portable applications powered by USB. It features internal PMOSFETs and eliminates the need for an external blocking diode. Packaged in a standard SOP-8 form with a heatsink pad, the chip is compact and offers excellent thermal performance.
